1992 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Cabriolet The 964 Generation Porsche 911 first went on sale in 1989 and was the largest redesign of the brand’s legendary model line up to that point. A new design was far more aerodynamic than the outgoing “G-Body” cars, and an all new 3.6-liter air cooled flat-6 was developed with electronic fuel injection and catalytic converters, allowing it to be sold in markets around the world without modification. Although some purists looked down on the 964 in light of its increased creature comforts when new, it has become the must-have 911 in the current day thanks to its exciting, dynamic driving experience, paired with fantastic usability. This 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Cabriolet is a rarity, finished in Slate Gray from the factory and under the care of just three owners from new.
