With dealer partners: When you submit a lead inquiry on a vehicle listing, your contact information and inquiry details are transmitted to the dealer associated with that listing. That dealer's privacy practices govern how they handle your information after receipt.
With financing partners: When you submit a financing application, your information is shared with lending partners for the purpose of evaluating and providing loan offers.
With service providers: We share information with vendors who help us operate the platform, including hosting providers, analytics services, and customer support tools. These providers are contractually restricted from using your data for purposes other than providing services to us.
For legal compliance: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of GotMotos, our users, and the public.
When you contact a dealer through a GotMotos listing, your name, email address, phone number, and message are transmitted to that dealer in real time. GotMotos acts as a lead generation platform in this context. Once your information has been delivered to a dealer, GotMotos is not responsible for the dealer's subsequent use of that information. We recommend reviewing the dealer's own privacy policy before submitting an inquiry.
If you list a vehicle as a private seller, your listing information including vehicle details and contact method is displayed publicly to buyers on GotMotos. Do not include sensitive personal information such as your full home address in a vehicle listing.
GotMotos uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes: maintaining your session and search preferences, measuring site traffic and usage patterns via Google Analytics 4, and enabling certain platform features. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some functionality on GotMotos.
