This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu combines classic A-body styling with a heavily upgraded big-block drivetrain and modernized suspension. Finished in black, the car carries the unmistakable lines of the second-generation Chevelle with a clean, understated appearance. The paint presents well as a driver, while the chrome and exterior brightwork remain in good overall condition. A set of classic Chevrolet-style wheels wrapped in brand-new BFGoodrich tires completes the period-correct look.
Under the hood sits a built 468ci Chevrolet big-block V8. The engine is equipped with steel heads port-matched to the intake, Icon forged 10:1 compression pistons, a stock steel crankshaft, SCAT connecting rods, Milodon gear-drive timing set, COMP roller camshaft, Morel roller lifters, and roller rockers. Induction comes through an Offenhauser dual-quad intake topped with dual Holley 500 CFM carburetors, while an MSD billet distributor and 6AL ignition box handle spark.
Backing the big block is a 4L80E automatic transmission equipped with a B&M shifter and a standalone speed-control unit that allows the factory speedometer to remain functional. Power is sent to a 12-bolt GM rear end fitted with 3.73 gears, giving the Chevelle a strong drivetrain combination with the benefit of an overdrive transmission for more comfortable cruising.
The chassis has also received significant attention. A QA1 Level 2 handling suspension kit features double-adjustable coilovers at all four corners, providing a substantial upgrade over the original suspension. Four-wheel disc brakes are listed among the car's upgrades, with power assist, while power steering further improves drivability. Heat and air conditioning are both present and reported to be functioning.
Inside, the Chevelle features a tan leather interior that provides a great contrast against the black exterior. The upholstery shows some wear consistent with use and age but remains in nice overall condition. Auxiliary gauges and the B&M floor shifter hint at the performance upgrades underneath while retaining much of the car's classic Malibu character.
This Chevelle is best viewed as a well-equipped driver rather than a concours restoration. With its built 468 big block, dual-quad induction, 4L80E overdrive, 12-bolt rear end, QA1 coilover suspension, power steering, and upgraded braking system, it offers a strong combination of classic muscle-car presence and thoughtfully selected performance upgrades.
