DESCRIPTION:

Original and unrestored NCRS Topflight award winning and AACA champion 1979 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe powered by the 195 horsepower L-48 5.7 L V8 and backed by the matching numbers Muncie M-20 wide ratio 4-speed. This Corvette has had the same owner since 1980 and shows just over 36,700 original miles. Full documentation includes the original window sticker, maintenance records, NCRS awards, and AACA badging (see photos).

This C3 has never been in an accident or repainted. It has always been garage kept and includes factory options such as power steering, power disc brakes, AM/FM/CB radio, power windows, power antenna, tilt steering column, and leather seats.

The exterior silver paint is in very good condition and shows very little aging for being 43 years old. The removeable glass roof panels are in perfect condition and come with the factory cloth storage bags.

The red interior is also in excellent condition with no evidence of wear or broken seams in the seats, nor any fading of the original carpeting and dashboard.

The chassis looks fantastic with new bushings and current dated tires.

The stock L48 5.7 L V8 starts and runs strong. Upgraded exhaust system looks new.

The only issues are the clock not working and the A/C does not work. Compressor can kick on, but it needs to be converted to the current grade of freon.

This Corvette shows well and is a great example of a true “survivor” from the late 1970’s.
